When it comes to parenting, there are numerous items that can make your life easier and more enjoyable. Here are five essential must-haves for parents:

• Baby Monitor: A reliable baby monitor allows you to keep an eye on your little one while they're sleeping or playing in another room. Look for monitors with video and audio capabilities, as well as features like night vision and two-way communication. I have used the owlet camera and sock for three years and love it.

• Stroller: A high-quality stroller is a must-have for parents on the go. Look for a sturdy, lightweight, and easy-to-fold stroller that suits your lifestyle. Consider features like adjustable handlebars, large storage baskets, and compatibility with car seats for added convenience.

• Diaper Bag: A well-organized diaper bag is essential for carrying all the essentials when you're out and about with your baby. Look for a bag with multiple compartments, insulated bottle pockets, a changing pad, and durable construction. Consider your personal style and preferences when choosing a diaper bag. This is the baby backpack I have used for three years.

• Baby Carrier: A baby carrier provides a convenient and hands-free way to keep your baby close while you're on the move. Look for carriers that are comfortable for both you and your baby, with adjustable straps and proper support for the baby's head and neck. My two favorite are the Boba Wrap and Infantino Flip Carrier.

• Nursing/Pumping Supplies: If you plan to breastfeed or pump milk for your baby, having the right supplies is crucial. This may include a breast pump, nursing bras, nursing pads, nipple cream, milk storage bags or containers, and a comfortable nursing pillow. I have used the Medela brand before but prefer my Spectra Pump and my Mom Cozy wireless pumps. Consult with a lactation specialist or healthcare professional for guidance on the best options for your needs.

Remember that every parent and child is unique, so your specific must-haves may vary. Consider your lifestyle, budget, and individual preferences when choosing items that will make your parenting journey more enjoyable and convenient. For me, out of all my baby shower items I received these five items were essentials in my day to day routine and brands I listed were my favorite.
